Customer Care

Acen undertakes to do its utmost to assist customers at all times. If, for any reason, a customer has a complaint he/she should contact the company by e-mail orders@acenstore.co.uk or post. The postal address is Acen, Ivor House, Bridge Street, Cardiff, Wales, UK. CF10 2EE. Acen will usually respond within one working day although complicated problems may take up to 14 working days.

Most orders, once processed, will be distributed either by Acen or by a supplier contracted by Acen. The customer agrees to allow Acen to supply third party suppliers with customer delivery and order details to ensure a speedy service. Prices may be given in Euros and US Dollars for guidance only as exchange rates vary. All transactions will be undertaken in Sterling in accordance with the Sterling prices given.

Display Support Items

Please note that display support items are not included in the price.

Ordering By Phone

Phone orders can be taken by advisors between 8.30 - 4.30 on working days. Please phone 029 20 300800. The customer should ensure that he/she has each item code, his/her address including post code and his/her credit or debit payment details handy.

The phone will be answered bilingually. Customers should commence the conversation by stating that they have a acenstore order.

Ordering by Post and Fax

Orders can be sent by post and fax. Please use the 'print order form' facility on the site. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to 'Acen'. The form should be sent to Acen, Ivor House, Bridge Street, Cardiff. CF10 2EE. The form may also be faxed to 0845 299 1507 (premium). The customer should note the conditions concerning credit and debit cards.

Working Days

Please note that the term 'working days' does not include weekends, UK bank holidays or public holidays in Wales. Please note that St David's Day (1 March) is understood in these terms and conditions to be a public holiday.

Credit and Debit Cards

Acen welcomes credit and debit cards from customers all over the world. However, if wrong numbers or incorrect or out-of-date expiry details are given, Acen can incur additional internal and external costs. Orders not accompanied by a valid payment will not be accepted by Acen and Acen will have no liability to the customer in any respect. If any valid payment made by a credit card is not authorized by the customer's bank and the customer has already been sent the goods, Acen will have the right to re-present the card details and payment details up to 3 times within the 6 month period following the original order unless the payment has been queried in any way by the customer.

Standard Delivery

Delivery within the UK is usually within 3 working days from acceptance of the order. Despatch for customers outside the UK will also usually be within three days. Delivery will always be within the 30 days stipulated by UK law.

Express Delivery

Next day delivery is available in the UK providing that the order is received before 11.00 a.m. UK time. This clause is subject to the clauses governing 'Supply' and 'Force Majeure' below.

Instant Delivery

Same day delivery is available on working days within a 5 mile radius of Cardiff (Wales) city centre. Orders must be received before 11.00 a.m. and goods will be delivered by 5.00 p.m. Special arrangements may be made, at Windit's discretion, if so requested by the customer. This clause is subject to the clauses governing 'Supply' and 'Force Majeure' below.

Supply

Occasionally, stocks become depleted and delays in delivery can arise. If this occurs, Acen will contact the customer by phone or e-mail and discuss the situation. If the customer has not supplied a daytime phone number or e-mail or is unavailable following two attempts to contact him or her, Acen will supply the goods as soon as possible and charge delivery at the standard rate only. At busy times, if a particular model is not available, Acen reserves the right to substitute a similar product of equal or greater value.

Force Majeure

If Acen is unable to perform any of its obligations under these conditions of sale by reason of any event or circumstance beyond its control, such failure shall not be regarded as a breach of Acen's obligations and Acen shall be entitled to suspend performance of those obligations until such time, if any, as it is able to perform the obligations. Force Majeure, in this case includes industrial action, technical or machinery breakdown and delay caused by faults in software and by software viruses.

Terms and Conditions

The customer will, in placing an order by phone, by post, by fax or through the Internet, or in any other way be deemed to have access to these Terms and Conditions and to have accepted them.

Discounts

Discounts are available on most goods if ordered in bulk. Please phone or e-mail orders@acenstore.co.uk for a quotation.

VAT

Prices will alter if there are any changes to the UK standard rate for Value Added Tax or the conditions governing VAT in the UK. In this case, a new price list will be issued. All prices include VAT. Customers should note when ordering whether a VAT invoice is necessary.

Returning Goods

The customer will have an automatic right to a 7 day 'cooling off' period from the date of receipt of order of goods. If the goods have already been dispatched to the customer by Acen or a third party supplier, the customer will return the goods and a full refund including the initial carriage charge and the return carriage charge will be made. The postal date stamp on the return package must be within 7 days of the date of receipt of order of goods by Acen. If goods are returned after this date, Acen, at Acen's discretion will either offer a full or part refund or will arrange delivery. If the goods have not been dispatched by Acen or a third party supplier, the order will be cancelled and no charges levied against the customer.

After the 7 day period, non faulty goods will be replaced or refunded at Acen's discretion. Customers will, however, be required to pay the carriage costs associated with the replacement goods. If a refund is granted, Acen will deduct the original carriage costs and a 5% (of total order value) administration fee from the amount refunded.

Contacting the Customer

Acen reserves the right, unless denied by the customer, to contact the customer with information about opportunities and products. The customer, should he or she not wish to receive information from Acen, should enclose a note to that effect with his or her order or tick the appropriate box on the Internet order form. The customer will have the right at any time to contact Acen in writing to request that further information is not sent to him/her.

Further Conditions

All warranties, guarantee terms or conditions, whether express or implied are excluded provided that their exclusion is not void by statute.

Acen will not be liable to the customer or any other party for any consequential loss or damage costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation in connection with the supply of goods or services to the customer. In all cases, Acen's liability will be limited to the sale value of the goods or services as stated on the website.

The legal and equitable title in respect of the goods which are subject to these Conditions of Sale shall pass to the customer only on receipt by Acen of the contract price and due carriage charges and tax in full.

These conditions will be governed by primary and secondary legislation operating in Wales.
